This project focuses on creating a voice-command-driven virtual assistant tailored for architects and designers, enabling natural language interaction with parametric models and geometric design. The system includes two components: AVA (Architecture Virtual Assistant), which allows users to control building designs through voice, linking to project-specific data for dynamic adjustments, and SAM (Speech-Aided Modeling), which facilitates geometry creation in Grasshopper by interpreting voice commands.
The Minimum Viable Product (MVP) was developed within the Grasshopper environment using Python and C#, integrating voice recognition and text translation into executable commands. The system also provides voice feedback, offering a responsive interface that streamlines the design process by allowing hands-free control over modeling tasks.
